[AlertDC] Verizon reports service has been restored following the nationwide outage that prevented some users from connecting with 911 from Verizon Wireless devices. If you continue to experience issues reaching 911, use a phone from another carrier, a landline, or go to the nearest police or fire station to report an emergency.
Many alerts regard violent crime. Do not take action, instead call 911 with the event number if listed.
