Robbery Investigation at 0630 hours in the 2900 block of Nelson Place SE . Lookout for (S1) black male, dark complexion, dreads, about 6"1" in height, black hoodie, blue jeans carrying a black handgun, (S2) black male, dark complexion, medium build, and (S3) black male - suspects are driving a dark colored Toyota Camery. Taken was a white 2010 Honda Accord with DE temp tags.

The National Weather Service has issued Flood Warning for the District of Columbia, which has been extended until 8:45AM.

What: Residual flooding caused by excessive rainfall.

When: Until 8:45 AM, Sunday, July 3rd, 2022

Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is ongoing.

Additional Details: At 5:19 AM, gauge data indicated flooding was ongoing along Rock Creek.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions: Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the District of Columbia, which is in effect until 5:45AM.

What: Residual flooding caused by excessive rainfall.

When: Until 5:45 AM, Sunday, July 3rd, 2022

Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is ongoing.

Additional Details: At 2:48AM, local law enforcement reported ongoing flooding along Rock Creek, and The Anacostia River. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions: Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has extended the Flood Warning for the District of Columbia until 4:00AM.

What: Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

When: Until 4:00 AM, Sunday, July 03, 2022.

Impacts: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as poor drainage and low-lying areas. This includes the following flood prone roads: Rhode Island Avenue, NE, between 2nd and North Capitol Streets. Beach Drive between Broad Branch Road and Piney Branch Parkway.

Additional Details: At 12:52 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated additional thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen, with higher totals just upstream. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Precautionary / Preparedness Actions: Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

What: Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

When: Until 3:00 AM, Sunday, July 03, 2022.

Impacts: Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses. This includes the following flood prone roads: Military and 36th Roads. Beach Drive from Broad Branch Road to Piney Branch Parkway. Beach Drive at Rock Creek Parkway.

Additional Details: At 11:47 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated additional thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Precautionary / Preparedness Actions: Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
