Temporary Lane Closures for Preventive Bridge Maintenance in Multiple Locations through June 28, 2022

Washington, D.C.) —The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:

Exit Ramp from Northbound Kenilworth Avenue to Burroughs Avenue, N.E. over Watts Branch, alternating right and left lane closures of the exit ramp from Northbound Kenilworth Avenue to Burroughs Avenue, N.E. over Watts Branch on June 28th, 2022, during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.

Kenilworth Avenue over Watts Branch and Burroughs Avenue, N.E., alternating right and left lane closures of Northbound Kenilworth Avenue over Watts Branch and Burroughs Avenue, N.E. followed by alternating right and left lane closures of Southbound Kenilworth Avenue over Watts Branch and Burroughs Avenue, N.E. on June 28th, 2022, during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
