(Washington, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close the northbound lane on Oregon Avenue NW between Military Road and Rittenhouse Street beginning on or about August 7, 2020 through September 30, 2020, weather permitting, to perform construction activities along Oregon Avenue NW.
Eastern side- Between Military Road to Rittenhouse Street. This closure begins on or about August 7, 2020, through September 30, 2020 for Phase 2-2A road construction.
This lane closure is necessary to complete Phase 2-2A of the Oregon Avenue Reconstruction Project.
Traffic controls and signage will be in place to safely guide all motorist through the work zone. Motorists are urged to use caution as they travel in these areas, to anticipate moderate delays, and to be mindful of construction personnel.
