The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close lanes and shift the traffic pattern on Minnesota Ave NE at the Nannie Helen Burroughs Ave NE. One lane in each direction will be available at all times. Marked detours will be in place as needed during construction.
This activity will run from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, Friday, February 28, 2020 through Wednesday, March 4, 2020, weather permitting.
Pedestrians and motorists are urged to use caution as they travel in these areas, to anticipate moderate delays, and to be mindful construction personnel.
This work is a part of the ongoing Minnesota Avenue Phase II Rehabilitation Project and is required for roadway milling and paving.
