The District of Columbia Government will keep the Hypothermia Alert activated for Monday February 11, 2019, until further notice. According to the National Weather Service, the current temperature is 35 degrees. Tonight's forecast is rain, with a low around 32. East winds around 9 mph.
The District issues the Hypothermia Alert when the actual or forecasted temperature, including wind chill, is or will be 32°F or below or when the overnight temperature is forecasted to be 40°F or below and a chance of precipitation is 50% or greater.
